How To Create A Wallet?

In this section, we'll show you how to create a wallet. The best way to use native wallets, like the Compass wallet. Let's get started!

Step 1

1. Head to https://compasswallet.io/download, and choose the option you prefer.

Step 2

After downloading the Compass wallet, you have two options:

1. Create a new wallet.

2. Recovery from existing Leap, Keplr wallets or using a recovery phrase, private key.

We will look at creating a new wallet.

Step 3

1. Copy the recovery phrase.

IMPORTANT!

Save the recovery phrase in a safe place.

Never share your recovery phrase with anyone!

2. Click on "I have saved it somewhere safe".

Step 4

1. Enter 4, 8, 12 words of saved recovery phrase.

2. Click on "Confirm".

Step 5

1. Create a strong password.

2. Click on "Proceed".

Congratulations! Your Sei address is ready to use.

There are several ways to deposit funds into your wallet:

• Buy $SEI on DEXs and transfer to your wallet

• Bridge to Sei through official application

• Swap tokens from other networks directly for $SEI in Sei network
